Saturday, April 22nd
Hunter Safety Training Field Day9:00am to 4:00pm at the Harrison Sportsman's Club.
The Harrison Sportsman's Club is offering a 2-part Hunter Safety Training Course in Harrison. Part one, classroom time, is done at your leisure either online (at your cost) or home study (with free book). Books are available at the Harrison Chamber office. Part two is the Field Day (free) on Saturday, April 22nd. Attendance for field day is mandatory to complete the course. Lunch will be served at Field Day. Polish Dinner - 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Harrison Lions Club.

Highway Clean-Up - Help make Harrison a more inviting place to visit and live by volunteering for the Highway Clean-Up. Clean-up is along US127 from exit 170 to exit 168. Pizza party after the clean-up! Rain out date: Wednesday, May 24th. Call (989) 539-6011 - volunteers are always needed and welcome!

Sunday, May 28th
Memorial Car & Bike Show & Car Cruise - 11:00am to 3:00pm, show on North Second Street, Downtown Harrison. Car Cruise around Budd Lake after the show. $20 registration, $25 day-of-show. Call (989) 539-6011 for additional information.

 

Saturday, June 3rd
Budd Lake Fishing Derby - Catch & release fishing tournament on Budd Lake. Progressive largest muskie pot; cash prizes for biggest bass and largest strings; kids prizes. Registration is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event. June 15th, 16th, and 17th.
20 Lakes Antique Engine and Tractor Club Show  - Held 4 miles west of Harrison on M-61. Homemade Ice cream, kiddie train rides, blacksmith demonstrations, outdoor flea market, and antique engines and tractors. Visit 20lakesantiquetractor.org for more information.

 

August 25th and 26th
Harrison Street Fair - The Street Fair will begin on Friday at 10:00 with Arts and Craft Vendors, Food Vendors, and a Veteran's Display. At 11:00 the Old 27 Car Tour will enter town bringing over 200 classic and antique automobiles for viewing! Saturday will be an eventful day with a 5k run/walk, along wih Arts and Craft Vendors, food vendors, antique snowmobiles, Queen of Spades drawing, Veteran's Display, Service Vehicles, and more. At noon will be the annual 9&10 News vs the Clare County Sheriff Department softball game at the Harrison City Park. Live Entertainment throughout the weekend!
